Directed by Drew Goddard, written and directed by Joss Whedon and Goddard. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Connolly, Fran Kanz, Bradley Whitford, and Richard Jenkins.
I’m delightfully surprised by how appealing this looks. What in title and concept has up until now seemed run-of-the-mill, suddenly became interest-piquing. The sci-fi element definitely throws you for a loop and makes total sense when looking at the creators. My only concern is that this trailer gives away far too much of its subverting element. Regardless, it just shot way up on my anticipation list.

I agree, this trailer made the movie look a lot more interesting. I think the trailer gave away just enough so that the viewer actually does know that it is a sci-fi flick. Otherwise, it looks like any other run of the mill horror movie. Can’t wait to see Chris Hemsworth in action again!
